RECENTLY PURCHASED

These are the most recent ornaments I purchased at Open House at Hallmark a few weekends ago. I don't think I will be buying anymore this year until the day after Christmas. That is a very dangerous day for me when it comes to shopping at Hallmark. Enjoy!

LIGHTS AND SOUND

I loved watching The Andy Griffith Show.

This one lights up and plays the theme song.

I think I now have about 5 tv's in my collection.

I almost didn't get this one trying to limit myself to less each year.

Then I broke down because I realized I really wanted it for my Wizard of Oz collection which is a pretty big section on my tree. The fire lights up as it plays the march song.

Great Christmas movie, right?

Push the button and the whole house lights up and plays music.

These are part of The Peanuts Gang collection they have this year.

ANIMATED VILLAGES

This pictures shows some of my other little villages. I don't hang these on the tree. I didn't get last years village because it was a plug into the tree lights one. I don't do plugs into the tree lights anymore because it voids your warranty on the lights of a pre-lite tree. I must have about 30 or 40 ornaments with animation that I don't put up anymore. I miss them on the tree. But I do buy the ones that use batteries. They are just so darn cute with the best details.

MINIATURES

I just love the miniature ornaments. They are just adorable. Besides having over 700 large ornaments on my tree I also have a miniture tree with at least 200 miniatures on it! It's the only tree my daughter does and sometimes I think it is very smart of her. Not so much to pack up each year! Hallmark does not make as many as they use to years ago. They use to have about 30 of them, now they only have about 8 each year.

SERIES ~ LIMITED QUANTITY ~ KEEPSAKE CLUB

I just love the cute ones, don't you? I've been joining the Keepsake Ornament Club for the last 8 years so I can get the Christmas Window Ornament. I do not have all 27 of the Nostalgic Houses, however I do have the first one which was a gift from my brother 27 years ago. I believe I have the last 10 years of them. Sometimes you just look forward to a series ending.
